GM Workers' Class OK'd In State Street Bank ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (January 7, 2013, 3:01 PM EST) -- A Michigan federal judge certified a class Friday in an Employee Retirement Income Security Act suit brought by General Motors Corp. workers who accused State Street Bank & Trust Co. of continuing to offer and hold GM stock in two retirement plans after it became an imprudent investment.  

U.S. District Judge Denise Page Hood's order came after the plaintiffs and State Street stipulated that the requirements for certification had been met and asked the court to approve a class covering participants in two GM retirement plans.  ...
