GAO Sustains Protest Of $35M Navy Laser Contract

Law360, New York (January 7, 2013, 4:13 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has sustained the protest of an Elbit Systems Ltd. unit that challenged the award of a $35 million laser-marker contract to L-3 Communications Corp., finding insufficient basis for strong reviews of the winning bidder’s track record, according to a decision released Friday.
