Ex-MF Global Customers Lose Bid To Depose Corzine, Others

Law360, New York (January 8, 2013, 4:44 PM EST) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Tuesday rejected former MF Global Inc. customers’ request to depose CEO Jon Corzine, Chief Financial Officer Henri Steenkamp and other executives on customer fund transfer issues, saying it would overlap with pending multidistrict litigation against the executives.

The Commodity Customer Coalition Inc., which represents about 10,000 former MF Global customers, sought a court order in November to compel the executives to provide information about the commingling of customer funds with those of the broker-dealer’s.
