Pigment Co. Can't Toss Cleanup Suit Over Polluted River Area

Law360, New York (January 9, 2013, 5:37 PM EST) -- Lead pigment maker NL Industries Inc. and others on Wednesday lost their bid to toss an environmental cleanup suit concerning 440 contaminated acres near the Raritan River after a New Jersey federal judge said the suit alleges sufficient facts.

U.S. District Judge Joel A. Pisano said the suit filed by two environmental advocacy groups asserted sufficient allegations under the Clean Water Act and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act to survive motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment filed by various defendants
