Judge Trims State Claim From Applebee's Wage Suit

Law360, New York (January 9, 2013, 4:30 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge on Tuesday issued a mixed ruling in a class action brought by former Applebee's International Inc. franchisee workers against AppleIllinois LLC, denying the employer’s bid to nix a federal wage law claim but finding a state law claim asserted by the workers wasn’t up to snuff.
