Amazon, KTR Capital To Build $200M Distribution Center In NJ

Law360, New York (January 9, 2013, 2:59 PM EST) -- Online retail giant Amazon.com Inc. is teaming up with private equity firm KTR Capital Partners to build a $200 million facility in New Jersey to help package and deliver some of its smaller-sized orders, the companies announced Tuesday.

KTR Capital is developing the 1 million square-foot project, which Amazon aims to occupy by early 2014, according to a statement. The deal is a culmination of months of negotiations between the companies and local officials.
