Philly Says $54M Sheriff Sale Claims Too Varied For Cert.

Law360, Philadelphia (February 13, 2013, 5:10 PM EST) -- Attorneys challenging a putative class action from property owners who say the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office owes them as much as $54 million in excess proceeds from property auctions told a state judge Wednesday that the individualized nature of the plaintiffs’ claims did not merit class certification.
