Pa. Judge Denies Dismissal Bid In Merrill Lynch Film Spat

Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 2:27 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Wednesday refused to certify for appealability an October dismissal of racketeering claims against Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. over an alleged investment scheme involving a failed film financing contract, saying an appeal now would needlessly postpone resolution of the case.
