Legendary Wants No Credit For Ousted 'Godzilla' Producers

Law360, New York (January 10, 2013, 4:33 PM EST) -- Hollywood film company Legendary Pictures Productions LLC filed suit Wednesday in California state court seeking to block Lin Pictures Inc. and Vertigo Entertainment Inc. from getting any credit under a producer loan agreement for Legendary’s planned reboot of “Godzilla.”

The dispute stems from a March 2011 agreement between Legendary, Lin and Vertigo. The companies agreed to loan out the services of Lin principal Dan Lin and Vertigo principals Roy Lee and Doug Davison to help develop and possibly produce the movie, according to the complaint....
