Ex-ShopSavvy CEO Sues To Claim Severance Money

Law360, Dallas (January 10, 2013, 7:17 PM EST) -- The co-founder and former CEO of ShopSavvy Inc., a popular mobile shopping application, on Tuesday filed suit in Texas state court, alleging the company breached his employment agreement and owes him a year’s salary as severance after its board voted to replace him.

Alexander Muse alleges ShopSavvy’s board, of which he was a member, voted to terminate him without cause on Oct. 3, then began negotiations for him to continue working for the company in a different role. But the board “inexplicably changed” its position weeks...
