Ex-Justin Bieber Bodyguard Says Star Hit Him, Withheld OT

Law360, New York (January 10, 2013, 6:17 PM EST) -- A former body guard for Justin Bieber accused the teen pop icon of physically assaulting him in a suit filed Thursday in California, and claimed Bieber’s touring company violated labor laws by failing to pay him overtime wages.

Moshe Benabou, who was employed as Bieber’s personal bodyguard by BT Touring LLC between March 2011 and October 2012, brought the action in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking upwards of $421,000 in damages, and claiming Bieber verbally and physically assaulted him backstage before a concert after the singer...
