GSK's Generic Flonase Antitrust Deal Gets Green Light

Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 6:45 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday approved a settlement between GlaxoSmithKline PLC and two groups of plaintiffs in an antitrust class action accusing the pharmaceutical giant of improperly blocking rivals from bringing generic versions of allergy medication Flonase to market.

U.S. District Judge Anita B. Brody gave preliminary approval to the deal. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed and the case has been filed under seal.
