Penn State Targets Ex-Coach McQueary's Whistleblower Suit

Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 3:32 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania State University asked a state court Tuesday to toss former assistant football coach Mike McQueary's whistleblower suit alleging he was fired in retaliation for testifying against convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky, saying his claims are legally insufficient.

Penn State filed preliminary objections in Centre County Court arguing that McQueary’s suit lacks any specificity to support its whistleblower, defamation and misrepresentation claims.
