Judge Denies Rigas' Bid For New Trial

Law360 (November 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- On Tuesday, a federal district judge rejected a bid by Adelphia Communications Corp.’s founder and his son for a new trial, letting stand their convictions for conspiracy to commit securities and bank fraud and their sentences of 15 and 20 years in prison.
