Duquesne Light Co. Can Install Lines Over Pa. Golf Course

Law360, Philadelphia (January 16, 2013, 5:59 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled in a reported decision Tuesday that a preliminary injunction granted to Duquesne Light Co. allowing workers access to portions of a historic Allegheny County golf course for the installation of a new high-voltage power line was properly issued.

Duquesne sought the injunction to access a pair of easements the company was granted in 1949 allowing it to install lower-voltage lines across a portion of the property, but the Longue Vue Club challenged the company's move to install the new lines....
