Wrong Name On Doc Doesn't Void Tax Appeal: NJ High Court

Law360, New York (January 18, 2013, 6:47 PM EST) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a 2009 complaint appealing a property tax assessment that was filed in time but named the wrong aggrieved taxpayer as the plaintiff should not have been dismissed by the tax court for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
