'Jersey Shore' Touts Tanning, Ignores Risks, FTC Told

Law360, New York (January 22, 2013, 4:54 PM EST) -- The Skin Cancer Foundation last week asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate MTV’s now-canceled “Jersey Shore” reality show for perpetuating tanning, which it describes as a health hazard and cancer-causing activity, in an effort to get disclaimers on the show.
