Fed. Circ. Backs DHS Withdrawal From IT Upgrade Contract

Law360, New York (January 22, 2013, 6:25 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday affirmed a judgment in favor of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's decision not to exercise option years on an database consolidation and modernization contract, finding that the agency was justified in scrapping the contract after realizing that its legacy systems were too old to be modernized.
