Broker Pleads Not Guilty In TXU Insider-Trading Case

Law360 (November 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Credit Suisse Group broker told a court he is ready to go to trial over a multimillion-dollar insider-trading scam, maintaining his innocence in the face of a fresh criminal indictment filed Monday.

The Pakistan-born banker, Hafiz Muhammad Zubair Naseem, pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday morning in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, just two weeks before he was due to face a jury on Dec. 10.
