Philly, US Airways OK Airport Lease Extension, $734M Reno

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 3:59 PM EST) -- US Airways Group and the city of Philadelphia on Tuesday said they agreed to extend the airline's lease at Philadelphia International Airport an additional two years in a deal that also allows US Airways to pump $734 million into capital investments at the airport.

US Airways will maintain a portal at PHL, which is the airline's largest international gateway, through June 30, 2015, US Airways and the city said in a statement. The agreement also includes several projects intended to modernize the airport.
