Judge Tosses Contract Suit Over $201M NYC Hotel Sale

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 5:54 PM EST) -- A New York state court judge on Wednesday dismissed a contract suit by a developer who alleged that two co-developers induced him to cash out his investment in a hotel under false pretenses, ruling that the defendants were protected from liability by a 2008 release signed by the developer.

Companies and trusts affiliated with the developer, Marc Berson, sued Ziel Feldman and Kevin Maloney in 2008, alleging that they sold a hotel on Manhattan's Upper West Side for $201 million after getting Berson to cash out...
