7th Circ. Asked To Revive Walgreen, Par RICO Suit

Law360, Chicago (January 24, 2013, 3:18 PM EST) -- An attorney for a benefit plan that accused Walgreen Co. and Par Pharmaceutical Cos. Inc. of overcharging insurance companies and third-party payors for generic versions of Zantac and Prozac asked the Seventh Circuit on Thursday to revive the putative class action, saying his client adequately pled Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act allegations.
