CatchPlay's Fraud Claims Trimmed In 'Looper' Rights Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (January 24, 2013, 4:19 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Thursday tentatively dismissed CatchPlay Inc.'s breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims against film buyer Studio Solutions Group Inc., ruling the companies' licensing agreement for movies like "Looper” and "Dredd 3D" didn't make SSG an agent with fiduciary responsibilities to CatchPlay.
