'Machete' Director Pushed Wozniak Off App Deal, Suit Says

Law360, New York (January 29, 2013, 10:13 PM EST) -- Robert Rodriguez was slapped with an $11 million suit on Tuesday by an independent producer of vigilante films accusing the "Machete" director of threatening Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak into pulling his support for a promotional app for a film featuring “Machete” star Danny Trejo.

In a complaint filed in Utah federal court, production company ITN Flix LLC claimed Rodriguez bullied Wozniak into backing out from supporting the app intended to promote an ITN franchise film titled “Danny Trejo’s Vengeance.”
