Texas Court Says Nonprofit Falls Under Public Info Law

Law360, New York (January 31, 2013, 5:49 PM EST) -- A Texas appeals court ruled Thursday that nonprofit Greater Houston Partnership's city funding qualifies it as a governmental body under the state Public Information Act, affirming a lower court's decision that ordered the partnership to comply with a PIA request.
