Pa. Gov. Faces AG Probe of Sandusky Investigation: Report

Law360, New York (February 1, 2013, 7:28 PM EST) -- Pennsylvania’s newly elected attorney general will launch a probe into Gov. Tom Corbett’s investigation of child molestation allegations against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, according to Friday news reports.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane, a Democrat, revealed to the New York Times that she intended to appoint a special prosecutor to determine why nearly three years elapsed before criminal charges were brought against Sandusky, who was ultimately convicted of 45 counts of child molestation in June.
