DirectSat OT Class Had No Plan For Trial, 7th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (February 4, 2013, 8:13 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit on Monday refused to recertify a class of satellite television technicians in their suit accusing DirectSat USA LLC of failing to pay overtime, saying the plaintiffs’ litigation plan would result in a ‘shapeless, freewheeling’ trial.

A three-judge panel affirmed a lower court's decision to decertify the class in an employment action brought against DirectSat, a company that provides service for DirecTV in several U.S. locations.
