New Katrina Suit Targets Trailer Manufacturer

Law360 (November 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- With the Federal Emergency Management Agency already in hot water over trailers provided in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, a new proposed class action is taking aim at the manufacturer of the temporary homes that allegedly contained dangerous amounts of formaldehyde.

On Thursday, Robert Lucien Jr. filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against GulfStream Coach Inc., seeking to bring class claims against one of the vendors that purportedly supplied the hazardous federal trailers following the devastating storms....
