VWR Can't Dodge Enviro Suit Over Lab Supply Facility

Law360, New York (February 7, 2013, 5:15 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss an environmental group's challenge to VWR International LLC's proposed 500,000-square-foot distribution complex in Visalia, Calif., ruling the group had standing to bring Clean Air Act and state pollution claims. 

U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. O’Neill found that the Coalition for Clean Air Inc. had established that potential emissions from the laboratory supply and distribution company's project represented a traceable and clear injury in fact.
