NCAA Says Penn State Fines Not Subject To Sen.'s Oversight

Law360, Philadelphia (February 8, 2013, 4:14 PM EST) -- The National Collegiate Athletic Association argued Thursday that a Pennsylvania state senator did not have standing to pursue a lawsuit that would prevent $60 million in fines leveled against Penn State University following the Jerry Sandusky child abuse scandal from being spent without legislative oversight.
