Nicor Says FCA Billing Claims Belong Before State Agency

Law360, Chicago (February 11, 2013, 4:54 PM EST) -- A False Claims Act whistleblower suit alleging Nicor Gas Co. knowingly inflated gas bills for customers who received grants under federal and Illinois low-income programs should be axed, the energy company argued Monday, saying it raises issues that belong before a state commission.
