Yahoo Illegally Gave User Data To Grand Jury, 9th Circ. Told

Law360, San Francisco (February 11, 2013, 8:41 PM EST) -- Yahoo Inc. violated the Stored Communications Act when it shared a user's private information with a Georgia criminal grand jury sooner than the federal law required, an attorney told the Ninth Circuit on Monday in an effort to revive a putative privacy class action.
