Ex-SK Foods CEO Gets 6 Years For Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (February 12, 2013, 6:18 PM EST) -- The former CEO of SK Foods LP was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday, after previously copping to racketeering and price-fixing charges stemming from allegations that he told employees to bribe purchasing agents at Frito-Lay Inc., Kraft Foods Inc. and other companies into doing business with the tomato processing company.

U.S. District Judge Lawrence K. Karlton of the Eastern District of California handed down the sentence to Frederick Scott Salyer, 57, of Pebble Beach, Calif., and ordered him to forfeit $3.45 million.
