Enron Retirement Plan Sues For Alleged $22M Mistake

Law360, New York (December 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The retirement fund Enron Corp. Savings Plan has sued Hewitt Associates in federal court, claiming the human resources consultant made a $22 million error while calculating a settlement distribution to current and former Enron employees.

The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. The retirement plan is looking to recover losses that the plan claims were suffered as the result of the erroneous calculation that “caused the misallocation of almost $22 million in plan assets and property.”
