Plaintiffs Add Title VII Claim To BofA Bias Suit

Law360 (December 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The plaintiffs in a putative class action accusing Bank of America NA of discriminating against African-American bankers and brokers have filed an amended complaint, adding a claim that the defendants violated Title VII.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Nancy Gertner shot down a motion by Bank of America to stay discovery, and granted the plaintiffs leave to file their first amended complaint.
