Judge Won’t Streamline Retailers’ Martha Stewart Row

Law360, New York (February 19, 2013, 5:57 PM EST) -- A New York judge refused Tuesday to narrow the scope of a trial over Macy’s Inc.’s allegations that television personality Martha Stewart is contractually barred from selling certain products at rival retailer J.C. Penney Co. Inc., saying any pretrial rulings would be premature.
