USPTO Will Re-Examine LunarEye GPS Patent

Law360, New York (December 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- WebTech Wireless Inc. announced Wednesday that the U.S. Patent and Trademark office has agreed to re-examine a patent held by rival LunarEye Inc. The patent is currently the subject of an infringement suit filed by LunarEye earlier this year.

“We are extremely pleased with this news from the USPTO, as we strongly believed that this suit and the patent in question are without merit,” WebTech CFO Scott Edmonds said. “In the meantime we are continuing to prepare for the trial set in November 2008.”
