COPPA Team's Move Likely To Jumpstart FTC Enforcement

Law360, New York (February 20, 2013, 8:38 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission said Wednesday that it would soon shift responsibility for its children's online privacy rule from its advertising unit to its data collection and security division, a move attorneys expect to drive an increase in enforcement as agency officials better connect the rule to general privacy violations.
