Pregnancy Leave Law Doesn't Trump Bias Claim: Calif. Court

Law360, New York (February 22, 2013, 3:39 PM EST) -- A California appeals court ruled Thursday that a pregnant worker who was fired after using up her time off under a state pregnancy disability law could still sue her former employer over alleged discrimination under the state's fair employment statute.
