Fresno Coach Wins Sex Bias Suit For $19.1M

Law360, New York (December 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Fresno State women’s basketball coach who claimed she was fired from the university for complaining about sexual harassment and Title IX violations has won a $19.1 million award in a discrimination suit.

The jury deliberated for only four hours before reaching its verdict Thursday in favor of Stacy Johnson-Klein in the state court of Fresno county on all counts of gender bias, sexual harassment and retaliation.
