Texas Dodges Sales-Tax Refunds For Rebated Office Goods

Law360, New York (February 25, 2013, 8:22 PM EST) -- A Texas appeals court reasserted Friday that the state does not owe individual consumers and retailers approximately $14.6 million in excess sales tax it levied on office supplies accompanied by mail-in rebates in a suit stemming from underlying class actions over the taxes.
