San Francisco Jumps Into Fight Over Power Plant

Law360 (December 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has granted the city of San Francisco's bid to intervene in a lawsuit alleging that a proposed combustion turbine power plant will place an environmental burden on residents of a low-income neighborhood and bump up greenhouse gas emissions responsible for global warming.
