NJ Sen. Looks To Ease Access To Wind Energy Tax Breaks

Law360, New York (February 27, 2013, 7:05 PM EST) -- A New Jersey lawmaker on Tuesday introduced legislation that would change the state’s offshore wind development laws to make it easier for developers of the projects to gain access to tax credits that can be applied toward capital investments.

State Sen. Stephen M. Sweeney, D-Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem, introduced S2590, which would extend the application deadline for offshore wind developers to apply for New Jersey’s Urban Transit Hub Tax Credit until July 1, 2014.
