Ex-Trenton Employee Cops To Extortion Scheme With Mayor

Law360, New York (February 27, 2013, 7:27 PM EST) -- A former Trenton, N.J., city employee pled guilty Wednesday to participating in a scheme with Trenton Mayor Tony Mack and others to accept $119,000 in bribes from cooperating witnesses in exchange for the mayor's help in developing a parking garage on city-owned land.

Mack allegedly used Charles Hall III, 49, of Trenton, to contact other Trenton officials to further elements of the parking garage project, and Hall would help inform the mayor when corrupt payments had been received by another alleged participant in the scheme, Joseph...
