Toyota Gets Claims Tossed From Hybrid Brake Defect MDL

Law360, Los Angeles (February 28, 2013, 2:39 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Thursday tossed claims by two of three remaining lead plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation over an alleged defect in the braking system of a line of Toyota hybrid models, finding the plaintiffs had not shown any legally cognizable injury.
