Google Can Withhold Some Emails In Anti-Poaching Pact Suit

Law360, New York (March 1, 2013, 8:47 PM EST) -- A federal judge in California on Thursday shot down an attempt by five software engineers to force Google Inc. to disclose certain emails exchanged with Intuit Inc. Chairman Bill Campbell — messages the engineers suspect might be relevant to their suit alleging a conspiracy among the nation's biggest technology companies not to poach each other's top scientific talent.
