Carlyle, ClearRock Team To Buy Flatiron Office Tower

Law360, New York (March 4, 2013, 4:24 PM EST) -- Yeshiva University dealt a 17-story office tower in the heart of Manhattan's Flatiron district to private equity giant The Carlyle Group LP and its partner, ClearRock Properties, the buyers said Monday, marking the latest in a string of real estate sales for the school.

The parties did not disclose financial terms of the transaction, which gave the Carlyle-ClearRock tandem ownership of 920 Broadway, a 106,000-square-foot office complex in one of New York City's busiest business centers.
