State Farm Can Fight $4.9M Junk Fax Deal: Ill. Appeals Court

Law360, Chicago (March 4, 2013, 4:54 PM EST) -- An Illinois appeals court on Friday reversed the dismissal of State Farm Fire and Casualty Co.'s challenge to a $4.9 million settlement in a junk fax class action, finding the insurer had standing to fight the judgment and did not wait too long to do so.
