Ex-Kirkland Partner Pleads Guilty To $2M Tax Scheme

Law360, New York (March 5, 2013, 9:50 PM EST) -- Former Kirkland & Ellis LLP bankruptcy partner Theodore L. Freedman is facing up to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to four counts of tax fraud alleging he failed to report $2.1 million in partnership income.
