Casino Patron Awarded $1.4M For Elevator Shaft Fall

Law360, New York (March 6, 2013, 4:45 PM EST) -- A New Jersey federal jury on Tuesday awarded $1.4 million to a woman who fell 30 feet down an elevator shaft at an Atlantic City casino, finding elevator manufacturer Schindler Elevator Corp. and casino operator Bally's Park Place liable for her injuries.
